Components of a Logic Model and Types of Outcomes

Identifying outcomes and a long-term impact of your program is important during program planning and design. Recommend ways for individuals to ensure that they have an accurate idea of what the outcomes and long-term impact of their program will be. Provide some examples in your answer of how organizations can project the outcomes and long-term impact of their programs.

The Inputs (resources) section of a logic model needs to be closely related to the Activities section. Examine what potential consequences could occur if an organization does not accurately identify the resources that it needs to carry out the activities that it is proposing during the planning and design stage of a program. Explore some of the long- term impacts of this kind of issue.

Assess the different types of individual outcomes related to logic models. Determine why it would be important to consider what types of individual outcomes are to be expected from your program during planning and design.

Outcomes from a program can also occur on a community level. Examine why it may be beneficial to organizations to think about outcomes on an individual and community level. Justify why this might be important when planning programs. Please read the required resources listed below.
