Evolution of Theory

Evolution of Theory

Imagine that you have been asked to deliver a presentation about the evolution of leadership to a high school management class. Create an 8-10 slide PowerPoint presentation (excluding the title and references slides) that highlights three key ways in which leadership and management theory has evolved from the industrial age to the present. Use four outside sources in addition to the required readings to support the statements made within your presentation. Also, within the PowerPoint presentation, incorporate at least 100 words of speaker notes for each content slide.

To get started on researching and writing, take some time to explore the following student resources. Take a look at this helpful guide (Links to an external site.) on differentiating a scholarly article from other sources. Then, review this handout (Links to an external site.) about developing good search terms. You can also click on the following links to see two videos on how to find scholarly articles using EBSCOhost (Links to an external site.) and Proquest (Links to an external site.). Remember that you can use Grammarly (Links to an external site.) as a proofing tool for your speaker notes as well.
