I would say that the progressives did succeed in what they set out to achieve, but they missed a key problem in American society. Even though the progressives successfully fought for worker’s rights such as sanitation and and regulated hours, they didn’t realize how well America can adapt to such occurrences. Whenever reform occurred, American corporations would find a new loophole in the system to take advantage of. As of today, American society has still not found a way to restrict American corporations in a way that would prevent them from finding any more loopholes to take advantage of.
